Delivery / Postage
- Orders placed by 12:00/Noon, Monday – Friday, will be dispatched the same day.
- Orders placed after 12:00/Noon, Monday – Friday, will be dispatched the following day.
- Orders placed between Friday 12:00/Noon - Sunday 23:59, will be dispatched on the following collection date (Monday, Except on Bank Holiday).
Our couriers deliver from Monday – Friday (Except during UK/EU Bank/Public Holidays). Please also be aware that UK Bank Holidays can affect dispatch schedule listed above.
We pride ourselves on our customer service and do everything in our power to deliver orders on time. However please be aware that on the rare occasion, due to reasons out of our control, these timelines may not be met and deliveries could take longer.
Shipping Fee - Europe
Orders over €200.00 = FREE - ECONOMY DELIVERY (up to 5 DAYS) - EU Mainland only*.
Orders under €200.00 = €10.00 - ECONOMY DELIVERY (up to 5 DAYS).
All Urgent Orders = €18.00 - EXPRESS DELIVERY (2 – 3 DAYS) -
IMPORT DUTY, TAX and SURCHARGES
Please make sure that you are aware of your country’s import tax and or duty charges before you order. needessentials Europe will not except liability for any additional import tax and or duty charges issued by your country’s national import office. Such charges are issued by the country’s national import office to the recipient and are not controlled by needessentials Europe. Import duty is usually calculated by the value of your purchase and the tax rate can vary from country to country. If in doubt please consult your country’s governmental or national import office website for further information.
We are able to ship to some European countries / islands without VAT if they don’t come under EU rules such as channel Islands, Isle of Man, Switzerland etc (list is not exhaustive). If you live in a country where VAT might not be applicable please contact us to discuss the best options for purchasing and recovering VAT.
Dispatch or Delivery Delay?
needessentials Europe, continually tries to improve customer experience by monitoring internal processes and work closely with couriers in order to achieve good delivery timelines. Due to the level of care taken throughout the process, very few orders should ever experience delays, however mistakes happen and delays may occur in which case we will contact you:
- Despite rigorous controls stock items can go missing and in the unlikely event your order item is found out of stock we will contact you to discuss the options.
- Typo mistakes are the most common cause of a delay; If the details you have supplied require verification we will contact you to gain clarity.
- Fraud prevention is getting tighter and checks are regularly made to authenticate card numbers against postal addresses and post codes. Occasionally there are issues matching this information and you might need to be contacted.
needessentials Europe will not be held accountable for parcels that are delayed or go missing if the delivery address supplied by the customer is incorrect or incomplete.
needessentials Europe will not be held accountable if a delay in the delivery is caused by direct or indirect strike action, adverse weather, customs clearance or any other event beyond needessentials control.
HOW WILL MY ORDER BE DELIVERED?
needessentials Europe offers a range of delivery options for you to select during the checkout process (See “Shipping Fees” for more information). Your purchase will be handled and delivered by one of the world’s leading courier companies, who ensure the safe delivery of your product. If you wish to track your parcel you can email us quoting your order number, we will happily check the progress of your parcel and report back.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM NOT AT HOME?
Our couriers will leave a card explaining where your package is, along with the package tracking number. Please then follow the instructions on the missed delivery card, to organise collection or a new delivery time.
MY ORDER HAS NOT ARRIVED. WHERE IS IT?
Very few orders should be delayed but the most common delays are due to;
- an attempted delivery has been made but no-one was in (a card should always be left by the courier to notify you of this).
- bad weather.
- direct or indirect strike action has created delays.
- Incorrect address supplied
CAN I COLLECT ITEMS FROM THE WAREHOUSE?
To maintain efficiency, we would encourage you to receive your order via a courier. However, feel free to contact us if you’d prefer to collect via our warehouse we will endeavor to organise a time for this to take place. We apologies in advance, if in the event we are unable to allocate a preferred time for you to collect your item (some periods can be extremely busy)
CAN I RETURN ITEMS TO THE WAREHOUSE?
To maintain efficiency, we would encourage you to send your return via a courier. However, feel free to contact us if you’d prefer to return directly to our warehouse and we will endeavor to organise a time for this to take place. We apologies in advance, if in the event we are unable to allocate a preferred for you to return your item (some periods can be extremely busy). Regardless of whether your product is returned in person (during allocated time) or via post, please ensure the returns procedure has been followed prior to returning.
HOW WILL MY GOODS BE PACKAGED?
All Goods are packaged with great care, using courier provided bags which are Durable, lightweight, and waterproof. Please notify us immediately if you are unhappy with the condition of your delivery.
CAN I REQUEST MY PARCEL BE LEFT IN A SECURE LOCATION BY THE COURIER?
On behalf of the customer, needessentials Europe are happy to note any specific delivery details for the courier to follow. However, in following your request, needessentials Europe transfer all liabilities to the receiver if the item is lost once delivered. This unfortunately means you will liable for all communication with the courier, and any costs associated in the event of a missing parcel. needessentials Europe therefore advise against requesting this service.
Sometimes you may need to cancel...
Shopping with needessentials Europe should be simple and hassle free. We hope you will always be entirely satisfied with the products you purchase however; in the event you need to cancel an order for whatever reason we have a simple straight forward policy and process to help you.
Cancellation policy statement
If you wish to cancel an order please notify us as soon as possible to help mitigate any processing costs. If you cancel before your order is shipped we will issue a full refund upon written instruction and confirmation.
If you notify us after your order has been shipped we will not be able to refund the shipping cost nor the cost to return the goods to us. We will only be able to refund the cost of the goods once they have been returned in as new saleable condition.

Returning the cancelled order
Once the order has been received by you arrange for the return collection. Please don’t open the packaging if you have no intention of keeping the items. This best ensures there is no damage to the product and speeds up the return process when it gets back to us.
